Kayla Fisher Installed as 2027 ICAAR President

October 12, 2026 – We are thrilled to share that Lepic-Kroeger, REALTORS® agent Kayla Fisher has been installed as the 2027 President of the Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS® (ICAAR). The announcement came at the 2026 ICAAR Inaugural Banquet and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at The Heights Rooftop.

A Local Leader Takes the Gavel

ICAAR is the trade association that supports REALTORS® across the Iowa City area, advocates for the profession, and works to strengthen the communities it serves. At the banquet, the 2027 Board of Directors was inaugurated, and Kayla stepped into the role of president. Outgoing President Jerad Ruth reflected on his year and encouraged members to stay involved in advocacy at the local, state, and national levels.

Kayla began her ICAAR journey on the Young Professionals Network (YPN) committee and now leads the association. Her 2027 theme centers on involvement and community. She is encouraging members to take on new opportunities and to support local nonprofits, schools, and organizations.

Who Is Kayla Fisher?

Kayla was born and raised in Iowa City and knows the area well. She comes from a family of self-employed business owners, and she brings that same honest, dedicated approach to every client. Her clients are served in Iowa City and across Eastern Iowa, including Coralville, North Liberty, Tiffin, Solon, and beyond. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her Harley-Davidson, gardening, and spending time with her adorable corgi’s.

Why Local Leadership Matters to Buyers and Sellers

A REALTOR® who helps lead the local association is closely tied to the issues that shape the market, from advocacy to professional standards to community involvement. For buyers and sellers in Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty, and Cedar Rapids, that means working with an agent who is invested in the community, not just in a transaction.

More LKR Honorees at the 2026 Banquet

Kayla was not the only Lepic-Kroeger name celebrated that evening. Julie Dancer and Kim Schillig were honored with the IAR Hall of Fame (for RPAC donations) award, and Terri Larson received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Congratulations to all.
