June 11, 2026 – If you’re looking for the perfect summer evening out in Iowa City, look no further than Rhythms at Riverfront Crossings, a free outdoor concert series running from May 23 through August 22, 2026, presented by Summer of the Arts.

What Is Rhythms at Riverfront Crossings?
Launched in 2024, Rhythms at Riverfront Crossings brings some of the area’s best-known acts to Iowa City’s stunning Riverfront Crossings Park. Set along the Iowa River at 1001 South Clinton Street, the park provides a beautiful, open-air backdrop for an evening of great live music.

Concerts kick off at 6:30 PM and feature Midwest regional bands and artists with deep ties to Eastern Iowa, the kind of authentic, community-rooted performances that make Iowa City’s music scene so special.
And the best part? Every concert is completely free.
More Than Just Music
Rhythms at Riverfront Crossings is a full evening out for the whole family. In addition to the live performances, attendees can enjoy:

- Easy access via the Iowa River Corridor trail network, a great excuse to bike to the show
Parking is available at the park (please save spots for those with limited mobility) and across the street at the Johnson County Administration Building at 913 South Dubuque Street.
